Not long ago, I read Eulberg's debut novel, The Lonely Hearts Club, which I was disappointed by. Just what you would expect to be playing at a 1960s prom. I know, I know… What took me so long? I won a copy of Prom and Prejudice from My Friend Amy* awhile ago and recently received it in the mail. What I'm about to say may seem shocking to some of you. But after hearing so many good things about Prom and Prejudice, I was excited and very willing to give the author a second go. I've been in need of some reading time so I picked this up yesterday and read the whole thing. It is a book I was dying to get my hands on because I am a diehard Pride & Prejudice fan. A 1963 prom was canceled in Birmingham, Alabama over racial prejudice.
